Hello and welcome to
New York Advertising Pros!
A little bit about me. I’m 64 and just starting my own business. My real calling was to become a drummer in a rock and roll band. I was very good but, I hurt my right ankle and that was the end of that dream. Very long story short, I went into a depression but I was functional. I was able to go to work but I felt like my life was in a down turn. Fast forward 20 years and I went into a major depression, Bi-polar disorder, and anxiety.
After many hospitalizations and medicine changes, I became somewhat stable. But the years just passed and I was going no where fast. After my mom died, I became homeless. I was lucky enough to get housing, and support to start over again. The biggest thing that I can tell you is that no matter how bad your situation is, it can get better. But…you really have to want it!
Talking about having a mental illness is mostly looked at as a bad thing. But I know I’m not alone. There are 1,000’s of people who can relate. I want to help others to feel better about themselves. I will be posting a page of resources where you can find support for you and to help those who are looking for inspiration and, maybe make some extra money without leaving their homes.
One more thing. I will be starting an affiliate program which can help not only me, but you as well!
